Walking Dead Review Forbes Season 8 Episode 14

Things are changing as The Walking Expressionless gets the wheels in motility for its final-ever episodes.

The Walking Dead Season 11 Episode viii was 1 of the near dramatic finales to date, cheers largely to the stakes.

The hour was all about survival, following two different groups as they struggled to live another day.

The Fall - The Walking Dead

AMC could have easily added 20 minutes on to this installment and focused a bit on Aaron, Carol, Connie, and the others every bit they were also on a high-stakes mission.

Rosita's hero moment was fantastic, but can we please requite her something else to practice than be a plot device when a horde of zombies or a super-strength villain needs to exist handled?

Her reaction when she returned said it all. She was exhausted from carrying these people, but in that location seemed to be a blink of uncertainty there, making me call up she was bitten along the fashion.

Tensions Mount - The Walking Dead Season 11 Episode 8

She's a long-serving character, so I doubt the writers would become rid of her without a fight, but damn, requite her some material that switches things up.

Anybody in the firm in Alexandria made for a skillful setting considering information technology put so many people against the undead.

In retrospect, it probably wasn't the all-time place to hole upward in, but when y'all consider that Alexandria is literally on its knees, it makes some sense, I estimate.

The desperation on all of these characters' faces equally they tried to proceed themselves, and the kids rubber, was heartbreaking.

Reaper in Peril - The Walking Dead Season 11 Episode 8

Hopefully, everyone else returns in fourth dimension to salvage them because it's non looking good. Judith and Gracie existence downstairs, to begin with, was absurd.

I know anybody was pushed to the limit, merely no walker could get upstairs if the doors and windows were non breached. Surely that should have crossed anybody'southward minds the moment the undead showed upward to crash the party.

Judith continues to impress. Far too oftentimes, kids on Goggle box shows are written woefully, but Judith gets a lot of decent material.

Y'all tin can tell she's going to be a natural leader when she grows up, and if she tin pb her and Gracie to safety, well, that will look skilful for her resume the next time she begs Carol to get out on a mission with her.

Looking Out - The Walking Dead Season 11 Episode 8

Connie wanting to go on a mission with Carol was something, but it showed that Connie understood Carol's machinations for bravado up the cave.

Whatsoever other person would probably want to kill Carol because she put their life on the line, but Connie has got to exist the most agreement person out there.

On the other mitt, Aaron is getting too much screentime and emphasis, which makes me remember he'll exist one of the characters dispatched when the show returns.

He's decent, simply some of the other characters deserve their fourth dimension to shine, too, yous know!

Scared Kids - The Walking Dead Season 11 Episode 8

Maggie, Negan, Elijah, and Gabriel leading the walkers with pyrotechnics to Elevation successfully showed the lengths the quarter would go to in society to get those resources dorsum.

It's tragic to think that while all of this was playing, Alexandria was being ravaged past horrible weather and the walkers.

If anyone dies, there volition probably exist a lot of soapbox well-nigh whether these people should have returned to the place and ditched the nutrient.

Leah went from existence one of the blandest of characters to one of the well-nigh dramatic when she made me recall she was siding with Daryl.

Rosita Fights - The Walking Dead Season 11 Episode 8

Killing Pope then blaming it on Daryl was cold as ice. There are a few issues with this development, and the biggest is how the show plans to residue the Reapers in the 2nd-third of The Walking Dead Season 11.

If you watch The Walking Dead online, you're probably wondering why these villains are living some other day when in that location's The Commonwealth to deal with.

The Reapers arc has been meandering, and Information technology should have been wrapped up during "For Blood." The simply matter that might save this storyline is if information technology is handled on the start or 2nd episode dorsum.

Afterwards the bewilderment, fans will riot if we don't go any resolution shortly. The Vikings-era weapon was a dainty surprise, but the bewilderment was unnecessary.

Connie in Danger - The Walking Dead Season 11 Episode 8

Daryl, Maggie, and Negan will not dice ... not this soon. Either of Gabriel or Elijah could die, and information technology wouldn't be a stupor.

Gabriel hasn't been given a decent storyline in years, and Elijah is newer, and so the show would probably wipe out the more than periphery characters before the ones that are driving the story frontwards.

A more than brutal cliffhanger would take been Leah revealing she had Alden all forth and knew there was something amiss with Daryl.

Could you imagine the expect on their faces if they looked up and saw Leah murdering him? Information technology would accept been style more believable than this "Alden is sitting on a bench in a church for five episodes."

Leah Sulks - The Walking Dead Season 11 Episode 8

While the activeness and stakes were definitely nowadays throughout this midseason finale, there should have been more resolution.

Nosotros already know the show is ending and are invested, no matter how these episodes end. Y'all don't lookout man a show for 11 years and requite up during the final flavour.

If the show tin can scale back the cheap cliffhangers and give u.s. more than progression, it would experience similar these episodes are more worthwhile.

The scope of these storylines is huge, only the episodes don't feel every bit nuanced as they one time did. It feels like the characters are going from A to B to C without considering the consequences.

Maggie in Trouble - The Walking Dead Season 11 Episode 8

For a testify about survival, there should be an emphasis on how these people are property up mentally.

What are your thoughts on the big cliffhanger?

Was it cheap?

Do y'all think Rosita could have been bitten?
